Diana Tikasz - Coordinator of the Sexual Assault/Domestic Violence Care Centre at Hamilton Health Sciences. An overview of the neurobiological systems involved when human beings are under threat especially the threat of a sexual assault with an aim to gain an increased understanding of behaviours following a sexual assault. Discussion on how we restore a sense of safety following a life threat. Recognition of how trauma memory is fundamentally different from regular memory.
